Sunbeam Warming Blanket, Navy

I purchased this electric blanket for my husband for Christmas...it lasted about two months and then quit working. It also caused our circuit breaker to throw. I emailed Sunbeam about 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten a response from them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I bought the twin-bed size, and overall I thought it was a decent no-frills electric blanket. It does the job, and I haven't noticed any "shedding" of the blue fuzzies yet like other people have mentioned. I ordered it on a Wednesday and it came on a Saturday, much faster than I expected. I'm pleased with the product, considering it was an inexpensive blanket.

Picked up my new electric blanket 09 Jan 09 and used it nightly. 22 Jan 09 the blanket would only heat one side. Tried all the recommendations to reset the blanket, nothing worked. Called customer service and recieved a recorded message to send the product back to the company at my expense. Thank goodness Wal-Mart customer service accepted the return and refunded my money. Will never trust this brand again.

These blankets are a great price, have great heat range, warm up fast and cool down fast, but boy oh boy, do they shed. We love they way they work but they have almost ruined our comforter and clothes they way they pill up and shed, shed, shed. We are unfortunately returning them for that reason. Too bad, they worked great.

Bought this for my husband who has wanted one for years, but I hate spending a hundred bucks on a blanket, so it took quite awhile to finally talk me into it. He got it for Christmas. He goes to bed early now just so he can use it, he absolutely loves it, and grudgingly, so do I. It really is nice to slide into a nice warm bed when it would take forever to get warm in this big old cold house with temps around 10 degrees outside. Anyhow, product is as it is advertised, it has a nice dark royal/navy blue color, it heats evenly controlled dually for the king. I just wish the price was a bit better cause now my son wants one, and that's gonna cost me another hundred bucks, grrr, why did it have to be such a good product?? Anyhow, A+ on this product so far. Have only owned it a couple weeks though.
