Suncast Everett Outside Storage Equipment Shed with Double Door Entry, Gray

This shed was amazingly easy to put together. My son and I had it complete in about a hour and seriously the foundation took longer than that. We leveled off the back corner of our property with gravel and placed 12x12 concrete pavers to make the foundation, then built the shed right on top of the pavers. The shed is big enough to hold all my gardening tools and a push mower.

This shed would be the easiest thing to put together out there if Suncast actually provided all the necessary components with it. We were rolling right along until we came to the doors and their hinges. The hinge receptacles on the corner pieces of the building were not designed to go with the hinges that came with the kit. The only way to make it work was to pull out the drill and a variety of bits, drill new holes in the hinge receptacles and matching holes through the metal hinges! What would someone do who wasn't in possession of a drill, or simply didn't know how to accomplish that side project? Oh, and we also had to make a special trip into town to buy the screws and bolts to fit the newly drilled holes. I contacted the warranty department in hopes of getting new components sent to us before going to all this unexpected extra trouble, but two weeks later, not one word in response after contacting them exactly the way they said to: with pictures and clear descriptions of the issue. I even sent a second request and again, nothing...not even an acknowledgment of having received it! Wow! What company does that and expects to continue in business? Final result: our shed doors do not hang exactly straight because, shockingly, we aren't expert constructionists. But having to literally create all the hinge holes ourselves, we did the best we could do. Buyer beware! Don't choose this product because of the warranty promise because it is an empty promise!

The shed seems very sturdy, but I will need to see how it stands against the rain. I've read other reviews that it take about 2 hours for 2 persons. However, it took myself and my dad 7 hours to get the shed assembled. Maybe it's our first shed and we have no experience. Assemble the shed is pretty easy by follow the instructions. It would be better if they can label each component bag the same as the instruction manual. For example, the instructions ask you to use screw JJ. However, the bag of the screw is named 40289. You would need to flip to the front of the manual and look up the cross reference. Other than that, the instructions are pretty good. Price is pretty good in Walmart for $489. You can not beat this price in other stores. However, the delivery fee is very expensive - $100.

Just assembled the shed last weekend with my 19 yr old daughter. Base unit and walls went together smoothly. Key to the roof is leaving the 2 "A" frames and the main support beam really loose - lesson learned. The directions don't tell you this, so you think you should have those things tightened prior to putting the roof panels on. Otherwise, a good looking product for a reasonable price.

I bought this Suncast shed last week. It took two people 8-10 hrs to installed on a wood platform I put in a week earlier. I followed the instructions step by step. The roof pieces didn't fit well. When I tested it by pouring water on the roof, it leaked. To fix the problem, I had to go to Lowes to buy roof ridge caps to put on top of the Suncast shed roof. While I was at Lowes, I saw a similar size shed made by Rubbermaid and it has a much better roof design. Should have bought a Rubbermaild shed.
