Superior 650 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Duvet Cover Set, Light Blue, King/ Cal King

I seldom write reviews. In the past month, I've purchased two duvet covers from Superior. These are the best duvet covers I've owned. I appreciate that the weight is listed with their products. The duvets have a high thread count and feel very substantial though are not heavy. They wash up beautifully and are wrinkle resistant when removed promptly from the dryer. The colors are rich (I purchased gold and ivory) which gives the bed a feeling of luxury. I'm very pleased with Superior duvet covers and highly recommend this product.

This is a heavy material. You will need a decent sized washer and some strength to carry this while wet. I own the Taupe in both Queen and King size, Queen in Ivory, and the Navy Blue in a Queen. At first the material feels stiff. But after a few washes it does get very soft. I do a delicate wash and tumble dry low. Material does wrinkle but irons itself eventually when you use it. If you have a deep mattress or like some overhang I recommend to size up. On my bed Queen bed I use the King size because I have a deep mattress along with an added topper. With the King I get a good amount of overhang and the pillowcases fits my thick (overly plump) standard size pillows perfectly. The buttons are sturdy. My only complaint is theres no loops on the inside to hold a duvet in place. Other than that a quality product.

This is the second round of sheets/duvet covers I've bought from this company. Clearly I love them or I wouldn't have come back. I'm such a texture fiend and I love how soft these products feel and how they're able to keep me cool at night. I will note the duvet color is the slightest bit different in its shade of white compared to the pillows cases, but I doubt anyone else would notice as my job is noticing slight nuances between colors. Hopefully these will last, definitely worth the investment.

I think the cotton will soften up after a few washings. It doesn?? have duvet ties in the corners which is too bad. I?? going sew in my own. They are essential to keep the duvet in place inside the cover. The shams are a weird size. Don?? match any pillow I own. The purple color is rich

I got quite a few fibers upon washing this duvet. The fabric has a nice sheen and color afterward. The seams need to be finished off by either thread tacking (sewing) or fabric glue. Otherwise the serged seam endings will unravel by washing and usage. I also sewed in some fabric tape to each corner to hold the corners of the comforter inside. No attachment has been provided. Otherwise very happy with the looks of the cover. Since I am a sewer, I am quite satisfied with the low cost of this duvet and the little time it took to adapt to my needs.
