The fabric is very thin. I expected a thicker fabric for a product labeled as "cotton duck."

I am putting these slipcovers over my Queen Anne dining chairs, armless and adding 2 upholstered parsons chairs at each end of my dining table to ""update"" my look. The chair covers fit, but I am experimenting with washing, drying, starching and somehow padding my chair back with some foam so as to have a better, sturdier fit. They will not stay ""put"" when you sit in them, so after each use, they will have to be touched up.

This is just fine. I had hoped the fabric would be heavier, but it's lightweight enough to see through the skirt when the sun's behind it. It was also a few inches too long, so if you need this, watch the measurements. I got a foam square for too much money, I'm afraid, but it raised the hem just the right amount and I needed a new chair pad anyway. But it was very cheap and I'm satisfied. Color true to the picture, quality great. (SureFit is a good company.)
