Targus - Dual Fan Lap Chill Mat Cooling System

A lot of these reviews are not for this item, mine was purchased today and will go back for a refund today, the fans are SLOW and cooling is only good for a laptop from 1990. i thought mine was broken but nope, working ( if you can say that) with fans that do not do much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has a gaming laptop and he complained all the time that he was getting shut down due to his laptop over heating. gave him this and he hasn't complained much since getting it. hes 11 and he unboxed it and hooked it up all on his own without any help from myself or my wife. So i guess it was an easy set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic is cheap feeling but super lightweight. The compartment that holds the cord is not made that great and the cord is short which is nice so it isn't in the way but could be a little longer. Keeps computer cool to use for long hours.

I often sit with my computer and always feel the heat on my legs, this mat is sturdy, holds my computer as well as gives a comfortable soft surface for my legs. The fan operates simply by plugging in the provided USB cord to computer, voila, the fan begins to cool. It's great protection to your computer and to your legs! The fan operates quietly and is not annoying! When you don't need the fan, the cord is stored in a handy pop out space underneath! If I want to work while sitting or on the bed to watch a movie, no more worry about my laptop overheating! The upper surface is hard, with 4 corners containing an anti-slip surface so your laptop doesn't slide, the bottom is soft to be comfortable in your lap. It has dual fans to keep the computer cool as well as you. Love it!
