Tasty Baking Kitchen Set with Large Melamine Mixing Bowl, Multicolor, 15 Piece

Love the whisk and the spatula/spoon and mixing/storage bowl. Definitely a must buy folks!!!! Fantastic for all of your cooking needs. It does take me a while for clean up because I do not have a dishwasher but just soak everything for a while in soapy hot water , wash, rinse and you're ready to go!!! Great!!!!

Ok I like the whole mixing bowl and spatula set. But calling it a 15 PC set is a little misleading. This set includes a teaspoon set of 6 pieces or so. Apart from that I've been using the big mixing bowl for past 2 weeks for regular food prep at home and its holding up fine. I also like the rubber spatulas and mixing ladle it comes with. I dont have a use for the smaller bowls unless I'm laying out all ingredients before I begin. I do like the largest in the smaller bowls the green one because it comes with cup measure inside it which is helpful. Remember its melamine so no microwaving these bowls.

I received and opened the Tasty 15 Piece Baking Set; it was well packed in a shipping box with reinforced walls (no damage to the product). As I took the outer wrapping off the set, I noticed the non-slip ring on the bottom of the large bowl (the only bowl with a lid). I definitely tried it out on my Formica counter top and it did not slide. There are smaller bowls included with the set. I am attaching a picture so that you can gauge the bowl sizes. The bowls are a hard plastic (similar to melamine) and may crack if dropped. As for the utensils, I did not know how much having a spoonula would help. I used the spoonula to make pancakes and I both mixed and spooned the batter into the pan using the spoonula. I tried mixing the batter using the whisk; it worked on the eggs, but the batter was a little too thick. Do not think of this as a “Baking Set,” it is an all-around great addition to any kitchen activity. I think this set would be a great housewarming and/or wedding gift. Therefore, a resounding yes, I would purchase the Tasty Bowl Set. Note: I received this product as a promotion and my review is my true opinion.

I bake bread every week; and the bowl which comes with the set is AWESOME because as bread has to be covered while rising; this beauty comes with its own snug cover!! Not only is it lovely to look at; but incredibly strong and also has a lot of depth. So many uses! Makes a great popcorn bowl as the lid will keep it fresh. I have also used it for hand washing and soaking clothing, even other dishes which needed soaking as well. If you are making cookies,(for example) and get interrupted or have to leave; you can just cover the dough and chill until ready to use. However, you will need a lot of refrigeration space for that, as the bowl is very large. On a cold day; you could just set it on a shelf outside!! Also when not in use for baking, I store bags of chips and snacks in it as it keeps them together using up less space. The spatulas are just perfect for stir fries and basic cooking, (....such as things that need to be flipped) as they are silicon and therefore heat resistant. For the most part, food does not stick much as well, which makes them a breeze to clean! I have never used a silicon whisk, have only used wire. But this one's a keeper as it is very flexible and light weight. Does a great job with scrambling eggs and best of all, because it is heat resistant, I can use it for whisking heated sauces, gravies, etc. This set also includes measuring spoons, and little colorful bowls which all can be used for measuring cups as well, or even little serving dishes! These are a real blessing; as often I have recipes which call for a lot of ingredients; or cooking several different entrees at a time. If you are in need of getting someone a shower or wedding present; I would definitely recommend this set; as it is perfect for someone just starting out, or really; a great gift for anyone! It is gorgeous and multi-functional, very well made and reliable. A MUST HAVE!!

The handy & colorful Tasty Baking Kitchen Gadget Set with Large Mixing Bowl, Multicolor, 15 Pieces, is the absolute BEST baking set utensils I have ever owned! Everything you need to bake is right inside this mixing bowl. I recommend this set many times over! The mixing bowl has a convenient lid- a huge plus! And it is large enough to hold all your utensils, and then some! I just made up some dressing it and stored in the fridge overnight. Put the lid on it & it was still fresh before cooking! It also has a silicone ring at the bottom to keep your bowl from sliding/moving when mixing. It is not breakable, as a glass mixing bowl is and I feel very safe using it. The measuring spoons are so handy and unique, having measurements also in written in milliliters on the spoon by color: Red - 1/4 (1.25 ml), yellow - 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml), light blue - 1 tsp (5 ml), dark blue- 1/2 tbsp (7.5 ml), and green - 1 tbsp (15 ml). Likewise, the measuring cups are more like little measuring bowls. They have no handle, but I think that is compensated for the way each bowl fits snugly into one another to save space. No problems there. They are also uniquely labelled on the inside with 2 measurements each: Red - 1/8 & 1/4 cup, yellow - 1/4 & 1/2 cup, light blue - 1/2 & 1 cup, dark blue - 3/4 & 1 1/2 cup, and green - 1 and 2 cups. As I said, this is very cool and handy. Lastly, the spatulua is red, spoonula is dark blue, and the wire whisk has a stainless steel handle with multi-color wires. They are all made from silicone, which is absolutely great, as I don't have to worry about this set melting when handling hot ingredients. So what are you waiting for? Get this set right now! You will never want another baking set. I promise.
