Tasty Blue Cutlery Set, 20 Piece

I am giving this set a mediocre rating because some of the pieces did not hold up to time. I like the cutting board and am still using it. The scissors broke within the first week with normal use. I still have the knives, but I am not really happy with the quality. The colors are rubbing of of them with just over a year of use.

I bought this matching cutlery set on Black Friday along with the 30 piece cookware set. I regularly watch Tasty videos to get recipe ideas, so I was excited to learn that they were coming out with their own cooking/baking line. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the bamboo cutting board, silicon boards, mini-cookbook, and knife sharper. There is a good variety of sizes/styles of knives in this set, and I love the blue color on the handles. However, upon unpacking the set, I noticed that the 5" Santoku Knife came with a rust stain on the blade of the knife. I was a little disappointed to see this right out the packaging, and I'm not sure how long they'll hold up over time. For the price, I guess I can't complain too much, but I hope rusting does not become an issue.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who gets sucked into a time vortex just watching Tasty videos and imagining cooking the dishes that they make it seem so easy to make. When I heard that they were coming out with cookbooks I was excited enough, but the release of a full line of Tasty cookware was even more thrilling! I personally think the blue ones are the cutest, but they are all of the same quality. Although they are not a long-established cookware brand like Farberware, they still provide a strong product with compelling branding and a unique, cute look. Love it! I really love the look and feel of this cutlery set by tasty, the color of this set is very bright and colorful, which is always fun in the kitchen and definitely true to the tasty style. I'm a huge fan of tasty because of the great quality of their products and how they use their products in their tutorials on Buzzfeed. For a set of this quality and size, I also found the price point to be really fair. I really appreciated that all the knives had safety covers (not all knife sets come with these) and helping to make the kitchen safer for families with children. The only struggle I had with this product was finding out if the knives were dishwasher safe because it wasn't listed on the packaging. Tasty also in this set provided a small tutorial booklet on the knives, their use as well as how to clean them, which I found to be a great source information about this cute knife set. I wrote this review as part of a contest, to give honest feedback on this product.

I love these knives! Granted, I'm not a chef but I do quite a bit of cooking. Comfortable to use and a good variety of blades for various tasks. These knives chop, slice and dice very well. The colorful handles look very cute on the kitchen counter and don't take up a lot of space, either. The cutting boards have actually come in quite handy and love the colors. Also, the phone holder and knife holder are amazing! I would recommend these knives to anyone. I am writing this review as part of a contest.
