Assembly took a matter of minutes and we were already cooling our room. It’s very intuitive as we didn’t need to read the directions to put this together. Our room size is on the higher end of this machines capabilities and it was able to cool us down quickly. The touch screen controls are very simple to understand even though there are a lot of features. It is much quieter than expected. Actually more quiet than our main house central air. I recently insulated my garage workshop and will be buying another for that. We are very happy with our unit. If you want something high quality that looks great, is easy to use, and just plain works. This is a great option.

It’s early April. The hottest day so far has been 80°. It helped cool my primary bedroom. Exactly what I was looking for. I was about to buy a window ac unit last summer, I never did, and then this showed up. For that I am thankful. Is it loud? Yes. All window units are. Even if they’re portable. Is it clunky and not cute? See above. When someone invents the 10 pound, 6000 BTU portable window ac, you let me know. ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this TCL portable air conditioner free to leave a review. First off, the air conditioner arrived damaged on the side. The box was in perfect condition, so it had to be damaged when boxed up. The air conditioner works perfectly, though! We put it in our shop where there was no ac. It was easy to set up and cooled the shop off quickly. The vent fits most window sizes with no issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing an air unit! It is on wheels so easy to move around. This AC is also super quiet! It will also come in handy during hurricane season since it can be hooked up to the generator.
