TCL - 40" Class 3-Series LED Full HD Smart Roku TV

This TCL TV was the first smart TV my wife and I have purchased. So far, we have been very impressed with both the picture and sound quality of this unit, and the ROKU feature provides more than enough free viewing options. The one feature that would have been nice to have would be built-in Bluetooth, though a Bluet add-on in possible, I believe.

These Tvs are cheap for the quality. We have 3 of the smaller 32 in but i decided to get a bigger tv for our living room and ordered the 40in. Tv was working great until after 3 weeks when one night the voices werent matching up to the images. Turned it off and back on and it worked fine. Then 2 weeks later BOOM sound just goes out completely. I guess i can hook a sound bar up to it and see if i can get audio taht way. but very disappointed,

We love our TCL tv's. We used to use the Roku boxes in all of our rooms but have switched to the smart Roku TCL tv. The operating system and menu's are easy to navigate and no more separate boxes! The quality is excellent and the picture and sound are better than more expensive tv's we have owned from large name brands!

I've been thinking about getting a TV for my bedroom for a while now though, I didn't want to have to get another cable box for it. So, I knew I wanted another smart TV and after looking at a lot of 40" smart TV I decided to go with this Roku TV. Not only does it have all the channels I watch as well as Youtube, Prime, Hulu, etc. but it also has the Xfinity Stream app. So, I can watch all my DVR recordings as well as Live TV

Overall decent budget tv. The Built in Roku is convenient. The Big negative is the tv speakers which are horrible. TCL could invest a little bit in the speakers As apparently they dont realize sound is a factor in your tv viewing experience. A sound bar is not practical when the tv is wall mounted.
