You just cannot buy replacement parts for the Tetra products. I mean if you make a product then support it. The product works fine until it doesn't and then you will have all sorts of issues. I've kept mine going with duct tape and bailing wire but when it dies for good I'm going elsewhere. Already checking other products. I think they are better at fish food and goldfish.

Bought this last year - consider it an excellent product as it keep my ponds water perfectly clear all summer. The problem is the company not the product. Used to think Tetra's support was great - parts always available and customer support was excellent. Not anymore - can't get simple parts to keep it running - ORINGS and handles if they break. Tetra - here is a tip. You always order excess parts - 25% to support a product even after EOL as the parts cost VERY little to purchase and stock. Never will spend a penny with Tetra again as I basically have ticking time bomb - filter and debris handling filter that cost several hundreds of dollars that can be put into the trash for a 50 cent o ring. Thanks Tetra.

Over all the product works great but it is very hard to find replacement parts and it is very hard to put the lid back on by yourself after cleaning it... not worth the hassle when time to clean or getting out after the winter

After reading reviews on this product I purchased the Pressure BP 1500 model with UV late April of 2016. I was really fed up with prior sponge filters and the work cleaning them. Two things I noted right away. One, the filter was really heavy duty plastic and solidly built. No flimsy parts. Two, the step by step instructions were clear and easy to follow. The instructions also had a help number to call if needed. It's early days yet but I am starting to see improvement in my pond water. Tetra has a good reputation and product quality is important.

I bought the BP 2500 UV two years ago and have found it to be an excellent filter, but what I find even better is Tetra's customer service! The housing for my filter split the winter and I contacted the company to see if I could purchase a new housing rather than buying a whole new unit. Linda at Tetra Pond was most accommodating! I am so pleased. I have used Tetra products for ever, starting with aquarium products when I was a kid and now in my pond. Love this company and their products. Love that they stand behind their products and look out for their customers.
