Have had this unit for a few years now. Never had a problem with bugs. It has started shutting off so guess I'll need to send it back to get cleaned. I use it for work mostl. I work construction so we get eaten alive some times. Just bought a second unit for better coverage. I also use this on my back deck in the evening. Deck backs up to dense woods. It's great.

Just wanted to say thanks for making a great product. I bought a new handheld and holster after getting my four old ones back that you all fixed just like new. Good work keep it up.

I have used this in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Wilderness. It was even effective against the infamous Minnesota black flies. I can't say personally how it works on mosquitoes, they don't find me very tasty. However my paddling partners were happy to have it with us.

First off I must say, my job dictates my love for this product. I'm a land surveyor ... and I don't mean the guy you see on the road taking grade shots and basically doing nothing ... I'm the guy that finds old stakes in the swamp that people put there 100 years ago ... and this thing is an absolute game changer. It's a product that might not get the praise it deserves because you only notice it when you DON'T have it. The only time I notice it is when I need to change the pads ... My instrument man always told me about the thermacell and it sounded like "magic" I was skeptical ... bought one and will never be without it again . Also Gerber machete's and Lacrosse rubber boots.
