Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play Rattling Railsss Snake Ride

I was asked by Mattel to review this product. My sons (5 and 18 months) both love this toy. We have a few other take along Thomas toys and this easily attached to them to make a little village in their play area. Before attaching them, my sons played with the Rattling Railsss independently. I had to assemble the product (easy!) and reattach the snake head a few times when my oldest got a little rough (kind of annoying because it's too hard for a kid to push back on). Other than that it's an entertaining toy that even my youngest was able to use appropriately with minimal direction. It is still bigger than other take along toys in this brand, but it's easy to carry around from toy area to different areas of the house if they want to make a huge toy village. Easy picture assembly instructions! My 3 year old and 18 month old play with this and think it's pretty cool! It is very easy to use, my 18 month old can push down on the lever with ease to make the snake move. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I don't have much experience with Thomas but thought this toy looked fun. It was very easy to assemble. My kids really enjoyed it the first day but lost interest quickly. Thomas goes around in a quick circle & can be pushed around the track at the bottom. The small snake that comes with the toy is useless. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This toy was for my 5 yr old grandson. We put it together easy enough but one piece (the mouth of the snake} kept coming off.This product is supposed to be action packed...not so much!!! It only kept his attention for about 5 minutes and he was done. I think the best thing about this toy was the die cast Thomas Engine! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The play set was pretty easy to build, my almost five year old grandson was able to put most of it together. It did differ from the picture slightly, the tunnel cover on the box shows that it's brown but it's actually green.but not a huge issue. My two grandsons were playing(one is three& one is five) Once they saw Thoas the train they were excited. They took turns playing, sending Thomas around the track,using the snake to move him around.-very easy to understand, the great thing about it, is that they can play on the go.
