Thomas & Friends Thomas at Tidmouth Sheds Play Set

My son loves Thomas the Train and we have several trackmaster sets so this one was just an addition to the group. My husband has more fun putting the tracks together in many different ways and spends hours playing with our son and his trains. Like other reviews have said though, the sheds don't stay together very well with little kids playing with them. We'll probably glue them together or something. Overall we are pleased with the product. We've wanted Tidmouth Sheds for a long time to add to what we have. It's kind of expensive for a kids' toy if you ask me.

I have a three yr old son and this present was purchased for him by his grampa. The idea of a remote control train set is great and my son loves it. The only issue we had with it was that the shed kept coming apart as soon as we got it together. Well I did not want to return it so I just hot glue gunned all the shed peices together and now it stays together like a charm. Overall, we enjoy it...I just wish the shed was made a bit stronger for now I have a problem storing it with the rest of the set when it is dismanteled to use another set.

I bought this toy for my 3 year old grandson. I agree with most of the other comments. The track works great and is easy to put together, but the shed is awful! We had to use tape to keep it together!! It is very cheaply made, which is very surprising for a Thomas toy. The bridge is also poorly made. Thomas gets stuck on it every time he goes across. I would not recommend this toy at all.

This is the most poorly designed toy I've ever bought for my son. I've never written a toy review but this one is so awful that I'm compelled to prevent other people from wasting their money. The shed WILL NOT stay together. You can't even touch it! I went so far as to superglue all of the parts and it still came apart. The shed is worthless. That's the main reason we bought this set. Otherwise, it's just track. Don't waste your money!

I got this set at Walmart on sale for $25 last week. Love the remote control feature because he doesn't have to manual push and he can control it going forward/backward. He also plays with the trains on the floor w/o the tracks using remote control. I changed the layout a little bit to have it be a continuous loop w/ two turnabout locations. It comes w/ a helicopter too. It is a really big set. This is too big to fit on a wooden train table.
