Tide Vivid White Plus Bright Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent, 39 Loads, 75 fl oz

This detergent is great, as with all Tide products. I had some whites that were getting a little dingy because I had to use a bad washing machine in a hotel and used it four times which can kill good whites. I used Vivid plus white and like magic I saw a marked difference. I will continue to use Vivid for my whites alone and Pods for the rest.

I'm a new Tide consumer who bought my first powder box of Tide w/Bleach at my local store. I absolutely loved it. My clothes and towels came out of the dryer smelling really good. Then, two months later, when I needed to buy more, I noticed the packaging and formula had changed to Tide Vivid White + Bright Liquid Laundry Detergent and I bought a bottle of the liquid. After trying this for a week, I discovered what a huge disappointment the new product is! It seems to clean okay, but the smell is terribly strong in raw form and when my laundry comes out of the dryer, it no longer had the great, fresh smell of the former Tide w/Bleach. My clothes were clean, but the smell was flat. I was going to purchase the powder version, but decided not to because I see from some of the reviews listed here that there is no difference in powder form either. I agree with other consumers about having the option of the original. It worked and smelled much better. Now, because of this, I'm not sure if I'll remain as a new Tide consumer. I would try the other Tide options, but I can't stand Frebreze, Downey, and the other scents as they are way too strong and a relative told me that they made her clothes smell dirty and musty. Even like the smell of kitty litter at times. I think Tide needs to ease up on all the perfumes and scents and go back to the great smell it had before. I'm tempted to try the Free & Gentle formula, but there wouldn't be the classic, fresh scent. So once I'm done with the current bottle, looks like I'm just going to have to switch brands until I find something better. Sorry, Tide. I agree with the others. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I have been using Tide for many years, and then when Tide with Bleach came on the market, this product is the best for white clothes. I soaked my whites overnight in Tide with bleach and wash the next morning, followed by rinsing and washing again with Tide with Downy or Tide with Febreze.....the best, your whites are whiter than white. I have also recommended to friends and coworkers when they complimented me on my white clothing

I absolutely love liquid Tide with Bleach. I will not use another product for my laundry. I do have one slight problem, I only like the original scent and it is becoming more and more difficult to find! The other scents are too strong and, in my view, they are too overpowering. Sincerely, Lora

My handicapped son made a huge mess with fruit juice in the middle of my large family room beige carpet that no carpet shampoo seemed to touch. A friend that owns rental property told me to try Tide with Bleach Alternative in my hot water carpet cleaning machine as one last try before I ripped up the carpet. She swears by it being the best thing ever so I tried it. She suggested that on really soild stains that didn't come up to add some color safe liquid bleach with the Tide if it didn't come up the first time. I put Tide in my Rug Doctor with water just like normal carpet shampoo. It saved 900 sq ft of carpet plus a matching carpeted stairway. I would strongly suggest trying a very small spot in the corner on colored carpets as you don't know if it would fade carpet fibers, but on an eggshell/beige it works wonders. We laid a small scrap we had saved for any minor repairs on it and color was still exact. I now keep a pump spray bottle loaded with Tide and water in the utility room for fast responses. Spray spots and dab to soak up with towels. Thanks Tide!
