L.T.D. (Love, Togetherness & Devotion) began as the backing band for Sam & Dave. Featuring lead vocals by Jeffrey Osborne, this album (originally released in '77) predates L.T.D.'s crossover success. Togetherness (which peaked at #3 on the Billboard R&B Album chart in 1978) contains the #1 R&B hit quot;Holding on (When Love Is Gone)quot; as well as the Top 20 R&B single quot;We Both Deserve Each Other's Love.quot; Also included is the favorite quot;Concentrate on You,quot; which was never released as a single.
