Tom's Of Maine Antiplaque Flat Floss Spearmint, 32.0 YARDS

Not only is it anti-bacterial, but it's a naturally waxed floss. Really, it's not just another skinny, easy to slide between your teeth, floss that leaves your gums in pain. This is a flat floss, or what used to be described as "tape" which lays down between your teeth to clean out particles better while the flat surface cushions your gums. You really can't do better than this when it comes to flossing your teeth.

My teeth are too close together so I shred regular floss. when I floss my teeth the floss breaks pulls apart leaving pieces in my teeth and doing a horrible job of cleaning my teeth. My dentist suggested trying flat floss. This floss was really doing the job and the Spearmint taste was great, the flat floss did a wonderful job. I was happily surprised. this product is wonderful.

This dental floss is flavored spearmint. It is “naturally waxed”. I'm not quite sure why it is called “antiplaque”, but it is. It says that it is flat floss, removes plaque, easy glide, gentle action. Okay, it removes plaque, but to me, that doesn't make it antiplaque – like it could prevent it. It is, indeed, flat floss, which, by all means, should make it easy glide and gentle action. The operative word there is should. For the most part it did as it states, however, I did get it caught between a tooth and a cap and could not get it out in the manner that you normally would. I had to pull it out from the front and then use a floss pick to make sure there was nothing left behind. This floss has quite a bit of wax on it, a bit more than I expected, but I don't think that was the problem. It is strong and does not break easily. As a matter of fact, I tried to break it with my hands/fingers and couldn't. I prefer the flat floss, because of the fact that it is easier to use between teeth that are rather close together. The taste and scent of the spearmint is not strong, so it doesn't really pose a problem of the mint burn or turning you off due to a strong taste, it is definitely pleasant. Very nice – thumbs up!

When I received this I was skeptical about how well this would work. I tried it at first & decided this wouldn't get between your teeth. Then I tried it again and changed my mind. I flossed with it and discovered how well it removed plaque. you have to really get between your tight teeth, but it did with a little more effort. My teeth were so much cleaner than before so it did work. I would definitely buy it next time I was looking for floss.

Received this product to try. I have used other Tom's items and found them to be quality products. I was not disappointed by the floss. It was spearmint flavor, which I like, and a very thin flat floss. It worked very well and tasted good. It was thin enough to get into those hard to reach places. I will use on a regular basis. I give this a 5 Star rating, as I like Tom's products..
