Tonka Radio Control Bounce Back Racer First R/C Car

The first one we got as a gift and was a "lemon" We tried different batteries, etc and it did not work. We ordered a new one and it works well except it turns itself off after a little while and you have to turn if off and then on again. A little frustrating for a 2 1/2 year old. Otherwise he loves it.

After reading all the bad reviews, I hesitated in buying this. I decide to buy it for my son's birthday and I opened it before his birthday to make sure it worked. I didn't want to break his heart if it didn't work. At first it didn't work when I put all the batteries in so I decided to re-install the batteries. I put the black ribbon between the batteries so they wouldn't move around. That worked and I haven't had a problem since. When he opened his present he loved it. He plays with it everyday. I recommend this toy to anyone with kids. My older kids like it too.

I read the instructions throughly and yes we had the 6 A batteries and 9V in properly. I even double checked the batteries 3 times! Car would not work or would go a foot and then stop. Turned it off for 5 min. per instructions and still did not work. Very disappointing product!

i think this is a good race car for kids 2 -4 yrs of age. It is easy to control and a great indoor toy. It does however stop working if it gets to far away from the controller, I like this because, then it doesn't get to far, so its easy to keep an eye on your kid and the car.

I was so excited to find one of these and when my 3 year old opened it, she did not want to open any more presents! Unfortunately it never worked! We tried several different batteries, new ones, even checked to make sure they weren't expired. Never worked. I took it back and of course it's sold out, but after reading all the reviews I'm debating on even replacing it!
