The steak looked 30% sirloin and 90% roast from the round portion of the cow. The grain of the meat ran most of the length of the cut of meat. The last two steak purchases have been substandard and didnt resemble the correct cut of meat.
that particular cut was terrible. half if the steak was solid fat. that should not have been wrapped and who ever selected it does not knownhow to choose cuts of meat
I ordered 2 pks of chuck eye steaks. Unavailable. Ok the correct substitute would have been ribeye steak or chuck steak. Not sirloin steak. Would never eat sirloin.Not in the same family of steaks.
The leanest cut and a generous portion for a great price. I usually cut it into fours and can save the rest for another meal. Such a good quality piece of protein, takes seasoning well and cooks tender every time.
Received a steak that was very fatty and marbled. Didn't use it because it didn't look right. Was told I could return it, but that's not an option for me ( the point of using delivery).
