Rory Block's Tornado contains nine originals, a country blues song and a cover of Andy Barnes' "The Last Leviathan," a tune which features one of the deepest and most moving vocals Rory has ever recorded. Tornado truly showcases Rory's multifaceted talent from blues to pop, from traditional to contemporary in sound and feel this is unquestionably her most ambitious outing to date. Special guest stars include Mary Chapin Carpenter, Stuart Duncan, Will Lee & Paul Shaffer (from the Late Night with David Letterman band), David Lindley and Jerry Marotta.
