Toy Car

My son has discovered a love of all things transportation: cars, trains, planes, and trucks. I thought that I'd be clever and buy some dollar store cars and save a little money. Worst decision! The cars are flimsy and come apart easily. Then I bought the Matchbox 20 car pack and I will now I understand why people love these cars so much. Matchbox cars are well built, weighty (not made entirely of flimsy plastic), they are modeled after real cars, and they hold up to everything my three year old has put them through. As a comparison, the dollar store cars fell apart with the first unfortunate multi-vehicle accident that my son facilitated. The Matchbox cars haven't come apart, the wheels have stayed on, and they don't have a scratch on them.

These car were great. My son has played with them everyday since we got them. He loves to race them and set them in order. My son can be very hard on toys and they have stayed together very well. All the colors, stickers, and wheels are still working great. My son talks and shows everyone these cars. He wants more to go with his collection. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have two sons who are aged 5 and 7. They absolutely love these cars. For the first time in what feels like forever I have seen them play together using their imaginations with these cars. It completely shocked me seeing how these toys brought them together. The cars came in all different colors and came in different styles from cars to trucks and police cars. The paint on the cars is flawless as well as the detail on them. They seem very sturdy and I don't have to worry about my children breaking them apart. My son is almost 4 & he absolutely loves these cars. Just like always you get 20 vehicles all very different & detailed. And they always have seemed very realistic to real vehicles. He really loves the selection construction vehicles, trucks & even a police car. These are all well made & have lasted hours of play with no sign of wear. I love that the selection is greater in these boxes & allows my son even more play scenarios. He also has a track that he likes to set up in his room that sends the car through loops and turns & these have been his favorite cars to use with it! Awesome set to add to your collection!
