For kids and the kid in you, this is addictive. You might need to learn how to fly in open air or a large room and then switch to smaller room. It takes some practice to get used to making the turns and the landings. So far it has held well together in spite of multiple crash landings. It looks quiet flimsy and ready to break but for actual usage it has held together well. The IR remote is almost as good as RF control when used inside the house because it is powerful and the walls do a good job or reflecting the IR signals. I did not have to point the remote to the plane to control it. It is worth the money: More features such as A/C charging and a more stronger body as well as RF control are desirable but wont be possible to get at this price point.

I've tried several 'indoor' planes before, but this is the only one I've used that can truly be flown inside an AVERAGE sized room. It responds well to the controls in normal flight, but don't expect to be doing loops, rolls, or inverted flight like the description says (it only has throttle/rudder controls), on purpose. It will fly inverted or hover (never had it loop), but usually only on accident or if you throw it too hard, and it's uncontrollable during those maneuvers (but fun to watch). The battery life is good, by the time your ready to take a break from flying (5+ min), the battery is done too. The only negative of this cool product, is the fact it uses IR control signals instead of RF (sunlight and other lights can interrupt the control signal). So the maximum range of the Havoc Cyclone indoors in around 30ft (which is just fine). I took it to a school gym to get more room to fly, and probably because of the lighting in there, it only went 15ft before going out of range. Overall, I'd recommend this product to everyone. It is one of the cheapest, and the best product yet from Air Hogs!

I had the havoc heli and returned it for this. This is easier to operate. It's still requires getting used to it but it's much smoother. I enjoy it a lot. You do need a good amount of space when u first start to avoid crashing a lot, which I have done and it still works perfectly.

very easy to fly, very slow flight, gets 7-8 mins out of a charge, charge time is slow, about 20 mins to fully charge it, overall a great buy for 10$ you cant buy fun that cheap.

The title says it all. This plane ROCKS. It took me a couple of days to get used to the controls and I've probably crashed the thing a couple hundred times, but its still up and running err.. flying the plane plugs into the radiocontrol unit to charge, and only takes about 15-20 minutes to charge. The radiocontrol unit takes 4 AA batteries that for me, have not worn out despite ~2 plane charges a day for a week. This thing ROCKS!
