TracFone Alcatel A205G 50GB Prepaid Smartphone, Black

It's an ok cheap simple non smartphone for a child or even an adult who doesn't like smartphones and wants a basic phone. The phone itself is small and hard to find if you lose it but it gets better signal than my smartphone. I purchased it for my middle aged mom who just wanted a cheap phone and she liked it but she's never had a smartphone and doesn't know how to work one so it's perfect for her.

After a few months of infrequent use, the phone wouldn’t do anything even when the battery seemed to be fully charged. I had a simpler Alcatel phone which was trouble free. I don’t remember the model number. I don’t recommend the Alcatel A205G.

This item did not work in my area, even though it said it would when I entered the zip code on walmart.com. Returned.

Everything was fine!

This phone was sent to my husband to replace a 2G phone because TracFone went to 3G. It's one piece of junk, obviously because they replaced the old one for free. We will find him a better one next time his minutes get low.
