TRESemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo Vitamin C 32 oz

I loved your Clean and Replenish shampoo & conditioner. It was just that. Shampoo cleaned my hair well and the conditioner replenished. WHAT HAPPENED????? Why in the world did you change? I hate the new 2 in one clean and replenish. It DOES NOT clean. Now I am stuck with bottles of this stuff that I hate. If you have the old clean and clear, swap out with my new ones. I bought them thinking it was the same product. Not fair.

Tresemme has changed the formula for their "DEEP CLEAN" shampoo a few years ago. One change to the old formula was adding Green Tea. This new renamed Deep Clean Shampoo Product is NOT as good as the old deep clean product because it doesn't do a very good job of cleaning my hair. It doesn't get my hair squeaky clean and leaves residue. I think that the Green Tea does NOT allow for a really deep cleaning of hair. I am frustrated with Tresemme every yr or so changing their Shampoo DEEP Clean Product. My motto is if it's not broke, leave it alone.

I was wondering why my hair did not feel as clean as it used to with the old forumula - even after a few rinses - your hair feels like there is stiill something on it. The old formula left it clean, but this leaves some sort of residue in your hair that weighs it down and if you have oily hair like I do, it will continue to feel oily. I though it was me, but then I saw all the other reviews that are saying the same thing. The pictured item is discontinued. They've replaced it with "Clean & Replenish" with a blue trim and everyone is disappointed. I've been using this for the last 25+ years. Not sure why they changed it. Apparently they used the same UPC code so it makes it so confusing since it's not the same product.

The old deep cleansing formula was the only shampoo that got my oily oily hair truly clean and the conditioner was just enough to moisturize without weighing my hair down. The new formula I have to wash my hair at least 3 times to get it almost clean which drastically increases the time it takes to get ready. I have long hair and stylist all tell me long hair needs separate shampoo & conditioner. This is only available as a 2-in-1 with a heavy conditioner. I can't stand it. My hair does not get clean & always looks oily, flat & lifeless. The new formula does NOT clean my hair & conditions too heavy. I've gone from having beautiful hair that I was complimented on to dull, dirty, limp, flat, lifeless hair and no longer get compliments.....I've been asked if I used an oil treatment & didn't get it all out. I've loved tresemme products for over 20 years but sadly will have to find another brand that will actually clean my hair.

The old formula called Deep Cleanse worked much better especially for oily hair or product buildup. The new formula Clean and Replenish weighs down your fine hair. Bring back the old formula which was popular. Be careful reading the reviews here. Some date from years ago and refer to the old formula not the version available now.
