TriSquare Portable Communication Radio, TSX300

I video church services, and christian weddings, misc. TriSquare TSX300 have meet every expectation and more. I purchased the TriSquare headset for this product and my crew loves it. The TriSquare TSX300 has voice mail capability which they use to entertain one another during a shoot. It's very easy to use at a very good price. I have 4 radios and plan on purchasing 2 more with the TriSquare headset.

Thus far I have been very happy with this product. My goal is to use it between rooms at work as a "doorbell". I keep one attached to my office door with Velcro and the other with me as I roam about the work floor so that I can be reached easily. It works through many walls and the twists and turns of the building I am in, but if you use the call function to set a secure channel and do not exit it properly the battery is drained rapidly. This will be a for me as many people who do not know how to use these will be at my office door, but if you know this it is easy to work around.

We needed this for our shop and I did a bit of research and TriSquare got top ratings with most of the sites I checked. Boy were they right, the clarity is wonderful and the sets are easy to use. The batteries come fully charged so we didn't even have to worry about having to wait for them to charge. I'm in the process of buying 2 more, would highly recommend.

Overall these exceeded my expectations. Clear and loud untill range is exceeded. The text messaging is a cool feature. I bought these for a road trip. Car to car, they performed awesome. On the highway range extended to 5 - 6 miles fairly clear. In the woods range droped to close to a mile. The only thing i would change is the ear piece. Its not comfortable at all. I read other reviews about the battery being bad, but if you charge it for 24 hours prior to playing with them they last all day. I hope this review helps other pick a nice radio for there needs.

I bought these radios after considerable research. I was looking for radios with good range and reliability. That is what I got. These radios have really good range for their power and are very secure. The text feature is cool and useful, as is the vibrate alert and on-board NOAA receiver. Based on other reviews, I have never used the included rechargeable batteries, just 3 AA Duracells. I have used them successfully for security operations in commercial buildings and in city environments. If you understand that this class of radio is intended for close range communications, like FRS and GMRS, but you need privacy, you wont be disappointed.
