Eric Benet (part of the band Benet, which released an overlooked album a few years back), makes his Warner Bros. Debut with an album of seductive, harmony-laden soul music in a classic vein. While echoes of Stevie Wonder, Al Green and other '70s icons can be heard in the album's 13 tracks, Eric puts his own contemporary spin on the music throughout. The album was written primarily by Eric; master funkateer Roger Troutman and Christian also contribute.
