OK as a quick detailer, but lousy as a wax. Very little black color and washes away after a couple of rains (aka: a couple of days in central Florida!). Use Turtle Wax Color Magic black instead if you want a wax that lasts longer and hides minor scratches/swirl marks well. This stuff is so watery that I ended up using the remainder as a waterless car wash to remove minor water spots after the first disapointing try as a polish. Be careful with the Color Magic black though, it WILL stain your hands!

Love love love this wax. My car is dark blue and this wax really brings out the shine. I had my car detailed because I had alot of oxidation and my hood, trunk and top was dull and the paint looked white. Once the work was finished, my mechanic told me to buy this wax and use it. Easy on, easy off.

I have always liked and used Turtle products and when I saw Turtle's Jet Black product I thought it would be perfect for my wifes black Nissan XTrail. I followed the directions and washed and dried the car. I applied Jet Black to the bonnet and polished with an applicator pad. The product did not buff away easily and as it appeared to dry on the bonnet I used a clean and dry microfibre towel The effort required to remove the polish and swirl marks was a lot more than I expected and the product has left swirl marks in the paint which would not come out no matter how much I buffed. I will now be purchasing another brand product to remove the marks left by the Turtle jet black and slight swirl marks that this product claimed to remove. Very dissappointed

I'd give it zero stars if I could. I washed, clayed, and polished my car before using this wax. It did not produce ANYWHERE NEAR the shine I can get from using their semi-liquid/paste carnauba wax. It would not buff off. I had to use Meguiers Ultimate Instant Detailer to get this crap off my car and even that required a good deal of elbow grease. Somehow, this sorry excuse for a wax managed to leave water spots ALL OVER my car. And I'm the type of person who blows water out of every nook and carney with a shop vac. This made my car look worse than before I used this stuff. Its a cheap knock off that does not even deserve to be called wax. Use something else if you care about how your car looks.

Really great product. It was so quick and easy to apply which made the excellent results even more of a surprise! I waxed the car under poor lighting conditions. I sprayed a section at a time and wiped off as instructed. I then got a fresh micro fiber cloth and buffed the entire car. It looked great but then black cars look good under poor light. The real test is under bright sunny conditions. Later the same day the sun came out and I was really surprised as to how good the car looked. No streaking, instead a really beautful deep shine. I previously tried two other products that both left the looking very average....it is 8 years old and so the paintwork is far from perfect. With the Turtle wax my car looked great even when parked that same day next to a near new black car. The car has some oxidization, mainly to the roof, which I was not going to treat. After this product working so well I am going to try the Turtle Wax Jet Black Black Box kit next time the car is in need of washing. Meanwhile, the car still looks great and I still can't believe how quick and easy it was to apply. Very happy customer who is not easily impressed and usually dissapointed with product claims. Did I mention the price?....very reasonable!
