Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Wax Kit with Microfiber Towel & Applicator, 14 Fl. Oz.

In using the "new" and improved Liquid Wax,there were a few drawbacks: 1.First impression when i shook the bottle,( with the sealed cap locked down tightly), it leaked and dripped down my hand/wrist, 2. This formula seems to be primarily water; it leaked down my arm when I shook the bottle--which I was told to do, 3. Previous formula was thicker, applied better to the car's paint and hid minor imperfections better, 4. the new formula leaves "streak" marks and you have to apply it a second and third time to equal the old formula's results, and 5. Go back to the old formula--or at least have dual marketing--Promote one as the "original/classic Liquid Wax" and the other for those that do not want to spend the extra time working on their car.

I have used turtle wax products off and on for years with acceptable results until now. I recently purchased turtle wax ice liquid wax and had terrible results. After shaking the bottle up in preparation for use I noticed the wax came out looking like milk with small white chunks in it. I then shook the bottle vigorously several times thinking the product just needed shaken more. After several times shaking it the appearance didn't change. The product looked like it was old and the liquids had separated from the wax. Is this how it is supposed to look? Against my better judgement I applied the wax anyway. Once I tried to remove the wax it just kind of smeared and swirled all over the car I am still trying to get the swirls out. The car was hand washed with turtle wax car soap. All in all, a dreadful and disappointing experience

I love this product, however, the nozzle stops working about 30% before the bottle is empty. I was able to pour all the leftovers from the bottles I haven't been able to keep using into one single bottle from the dollar store. My recommendation is to get a dollar store bottle and use it instead of the original bottle. The product is great, but the package is not.

I've been a fan of TW ICE products for some time now, especially the detail spray. I thought I would give the liquid wax a try even though I had seen some poor reviews. They had warned that streaks would be left behind. I figured it was poor prep, dirt surface, etc. I applied the product with an orbital buffer. I have to say it went on very easy and that was nice. The poor bottle design made it difficult to apply to the pad, either not enough or way too much. The MAIN ISSUE is removal! The streaks left behind were awful. I went over the car twice by hand with detail spray (over an hour since it's a black car) to get them out and that was after the initial removal with the buffer. I don't think I'll be using this particular product in the future.

I have used this stuff on my car and have gottencsome amazing compliments right after using this product. People assume all the time what I use and I tell them turtle wax and they don't believe me till I show them the bottle. My job has even taken notice of my car and have started using it on their own cars. I would definitely tell anyone who wants to bring out the original shine of their car to use this, and nothing else.
