Twin Waterproof Heated Mattress Pad

this is not the quality mattress pad that i have had in the past from sunbeam. it does not heat at the bottom, my feet are still cold even with this on. the controls don't let you set the temperature between number setting like the old ones did. i have been using sunbeam heated mattress pads for more than 20 years and this the worst one i have ever had. i won't recommend this to anyone......

This is my 3rd Sunbeam heated mattress pad; the first one died at the teeth of a cat and the last one was put in storage when we moved from a queen to a king sized bed. None of them have been perfect; on the first the backing between the pad and the mattress gave way before the cat killed it, and on this new one I can feel the wires through the pad, but it's not uncomfortably so. The dual heating feature is nice, being able to keep one side of the bed warmer than the other, and there's enough material that it can fit especially deep mattresses. Best feature, though, is preheat; turn it on about 10 minutes before you go to bed, and your mattress is nice and toasty when you crawl in. It's a keeper, for sure.

Absolutely LOVE IT!! With the rising cost of heating bills I am able to keep my house cooler yet stay warm and toasty in bed while I sleep. It has dual controllers so my husband can keep his side adjusted to his desired temperature. I sleep alot better never wake up cold.

I have used electric blankets for many years when I lived in Northern Indiana for 25 years. Now that I live in Southern California, I don't experience the same type of weather. However, it can get chilly on winter nights. My husband and I tried a dual control electric blanket, but because the weather fluctuates, the heavy blanket was too much on the evenings that weren't very chilly. We wound up putting the blanket off, then taking it off the next night. It was a lot of trouble. Now, with the electric mattress pad, we turn it on when needed and when it is not needed it does not result in having too much cover. My husband and I have found our own perfect settings and we love this mattress pad. The product is well made. There are no wires felt through the pad and it adds a bit of soft comfort to the mattress. It fits our king size bed perfectly. After several weeks of use, Ican find no negatives for this item. My husband told me that this is the best purchase I have ever made. He never knew that there could be such enjoyable warmth from a product of this type. Having the warmth come up instead of trying to get it to flow down from a blanket is wonderful. Although this product is more expensive than an electric blanket, it is well worth it. I do hope the prices come down by the time I need to buy another one.

I like this better than the previous heated mattress pad I owned which was also by Sunbeam. This one is more comfortable with no large wires running through the pad. The top is more plush than the previous one. My favorite feature is the preheat feature. It enables you to quickly warm the bed and then will fall back to your previously setting after it becomes heated, so that I do not have to adjust in the middle of the night!
