Speaker started to distort in the first month. Trying to get a repair or replacement from the company has taken 6 weeks and they still are emailing asking for information. I'll never buy another product from them.
this is a nice speaker with good weight and float ability the sound is a bit boomy instead of bassy but even that is ok the bluetooth distance is a bit short maybe 50 or so feet which is why i gave it a 4 instead of 5 .. i don't care about being unable to take a phone call on it for the price i'm really ok with this, i only use it with my spa and it's loud enough for me, not intrusive to the neighbors with adequate sound quality
disappointed in the quality of this speaker. i had the first mega boom and it was louder and never blew out. I've had this speaker less than a year and already need to warranty the speaker. the speaker is not that loud for $200. another brand that starts with the letter 'j' is better sound and quality.
This item is not new. It is open box/refurbished. Item arrived without a box, damaged in transit and was clearly refurbished. I would advise against purchasing if you want a new item.
My review is mainly toward the packing/shipping aspect! Being an electronic item, I would expect it to come with some bubble wrap and protection in a box! Instead it was shoved into a cardboard flat rate envelope.. NOT intended for bulky items! Speaker is working now and only thing that kept it from being crushed was the hard carrying case! Shipper may have no control over item once shipped.. BUT shipper should have taken more precautions to ensure a safe/trbl free delivery!! I am including photos of how I received the item. My wife wanted me to return it @ local WM store.. but I've already purchased a protection plan as well.. As for sound/quality of speaker.. for price I am very pleased!
