I work in EMS and typically wear another brand of tactical pant hat offers stretch, but I wanted to give these a try because of the pricing. They arrived today and I was soooo excited because they have a slightly navy colouring to them - they look great with subtle pin striping... But then I attempted to try them on. Folks, I am 5'3” and 155lbs with a very... substantial booty. I accept that some pants aren't going to fit, but I have worn a size 10 in all tactical pants without a big issue until today. Number one, I can't get them over my thighs. When I managed them over my thighs I can't get them over my hips without cramming. (I was desperate okay!?) Then I couldn't do up the button or even dream that it would ever occur... and they only covered half my butt? I don't even know where to begin reordering. Based on this weird, ungodly fit, 12 won't likely fit either? These pants are a size 6, or tiny size 8 at best. If you're curvy in your size walk away and save yourself the sadness :(
I am an EMT and firefighter and I have bought other brands of tactical pants and these blow them out of the water. They are very comfortable and have enough pockets for all your needs. The only complaint I have is that they are on the smaller side so don't be afraid to size up, and they are a little too long. I usually am a size 4 and the 4 was snug on the hips and waist, and I am 5' and they drag even when I have boots on, making different lengths would be perfect. Overall I would recommend these pants to every woman needing tactical pants!
Picked these up, because I needed a practical tactical pant. Fit great (waist wise), love the performance, but they are super dorky short. They're too long to be peddle pushers and far to short to maintain the profession look. I'm 5'10 and require these and your caliber fleece pants in a 34” inseam. Please make longer pants!!
I work in EMS and fell in love with the old style tactical pants a few years ago. What I loved most about them was the fact that the legs were not huge at the bottom! This new style has changed and I feel like I'm swimming in material on my legs while the hips and waist are tight. The material seems to be a little thicker as well and a bit harder to move in than before. Don't get me wrong - these pants blow other traditional tactical/EMS pants away in terms of fit and comfort. But the changes that were made from the old style have made them LESS comfortable and flattering than they were. I am 5'0", 110lbs, and I had to go up to a size 6 in these just to get a comfortable fit. I am normally a comfortable size 2 and that's the size I still wear in the old style of these pants. I only have two pair of the old style left and I'm hoarding them because we can't get them anymore. Please, UNDER ARMOUR, consider bringing back the old style! As much as everyone loves this new tactical pant, I think you would see sales soar even higher with the old fit!
As much as the price is a little high, you will not be sorry you spent that little extra. These pants are a great fit, they look very lady like (and face it we may work like the guys, but still want to be known as a lady). These are the first pair of pants that get packed when travelling because they can be dressed up or wore out to work in. Great for always being ready for anything. Love them, looking at ordering another pair in a different colour, currently have the tan, maybe go green this time.
