Under Armour Women's Tactical Patrol Pants II , Desert Sand Size 6

These pants are a god sent. I am petite and could never fit into the department issued patrol/cargo pants required as part of the Crime Scene Unit's uniform. I found these pants and am so excited !! I can still look like a woman while wearing my uniform. The fit is amazing, they are extremely comfortable, and I will never wear anything else. I don't even mind having to pay for them myself, as they do not sell them at the police uniform store the department issues chit's for. Thank god for these comfy pants that still allow me to have somewhat of a shape :)

I work in EMS and fell in love with the old style tactical pants a few years ago. What I loved most about them was the fact that the legs were not huge at the bottom! This new style has changed and I feel like I'm swimming in material on my legs while the hips and waist are tight. The material seems to be a little thicker as well and a bit harder to move in than before. Don't get me wrong - these pants blow other traditional tactical/EMS pants away in terms of fit and comfort. But the changes that were made from the old style have made them LESS comfortable and flattering than they were. I am 5'0", 110lbs, and I had to go up to a size 6 in these just to get a comfortable fit. I am normally a comfortable size 2 and that's the size I still wear in the old style of these pants. I only have two pair of the old style left and I'm hoarding them because we can't get them anymore. Please, UNDER ARMOUR, consider bringing back the old style! As much as everyone loves this new tactical pant, I think you would see sales soar even higher with the old fit!

I was very disappointed when I received these pants. First, I ordered my actual size and couldn't get them to button comfortably, so I returned them and ordered the next size up. The pants are still uncomfortable and it is due to how low rise they are. They're TOO low rise. These pants are not as practical for being in a squatting position or wearing a lot of gear around your waist (side arm, mag pouch, etc.) if you're in training or out on the range. I had really high hopes for these pants because it is hard to find "tactical" pants for women. Sadly, I've returned the pairs I purchased and will be looking elsewhere for women's tactical pants.

I read the 2 years worth of reviews for these pants, and am SO glad I ordered a larger size. I typically wear a 6 or 8 in regular pants, but ordered a 10 & a 12. They both fit, so I'll probably keep both. They definitely run small, so order 1, if not 2 sizes up. Also, still not corrected are the white pockets. I ordered black pants, and the hip pockets are white on the inside. I would also prefer Velcro for the cargo pocket flaps, as opposed to the buttons that are used. I use these for EMS, and as stated, the cargo pockets are not as large as the typical EMS cargo pockets. I am 5' 9", and these just skim by on being long enough. If they were any shorter I would have to return them. They are very comfortable to move in! The knees are made so that there is no tightness in them when crouching down. That's wonderful! The rise is lower, but that's part of what makes it more comfortable to wear. I can see that it might be a bit awkward for someone with a little different build. I haven't washed them yet, so hopefully no shrinking or fading, but so far, so good!
