Pond's Dry Skin Cream (two 10.1 oz., one 3.9 oz.)

I have been using Ponds off and on for several years, my grandmother introduced me to it. This lotion is great for more than just your face, in fact I rarely use it on my face. While my face is oily my elbows, hands, and feet are horribly dry. Recently on vacation a few years ago My feet became so dry and cracked it hurt to walk. I tried lotions from the store that are supposed to be good for dry skin. Most had aloe and I'm allergic. In a last attempt to save my poor dry feet I put my Ponds dry skin cream on my feet. By the next morning I could already tell a difference, I didn't get that sort of result from the other lotions I used. This stuff is great! I use it on my hands too. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry skin. It's all I use now. I only wish that it came in bottles and not in jars since I use so much.

So this product was highly recommended to me by some friends of mine and so I used it I read it and I didn't see that it had a scent or perfume in it which usually doesn't bother me but I used it first night and then I started getting really red and my face started itching and then it turned into contact dermatitis and it says it's for sensitive skin and hypoallergenic but I just can't believe this because I've had this on and I stopped using it right away and I am on day 7 of having an allergic reaction to it so I do not recommend this to people who have really sensitive skin

I have loved the Ponds line of cleansers and moisturizers for years! Never have believed you need to spend a fortune for pretty skin at any age! From living in Alaska for 12 years, to now living in Florida, Ponds moisturizer for dry skin is the best:). I get many compliments on looking younger than my 56 years, and I owe a large part of that to Ponds! Thank you for helping to make all women feel and look beautiful at any age or income status!

I remember my Grandmother using Pond's Cream thirty years ago. I have spent most of my adult life not using moisturizers on my face. They tended to make my face feel greasy, & honestly, my skin stayed soft on it's own...then I turned 37! I noticed that my skin was feeling dry & looking splotchy. I went to the drug store, & this product was waiting for me! I decided to trust my Grandma's example & try it. Immediately, I saw results! My skin looks & feels fresh and healthier! Stick with the classics, they really work! Love this product! Also, my teenage son recently came to me because his knuckles were getting cracked (due to winter chill.) I rubbed some Pond's on his knuckles, & by morning his hands were healed! Now, I have a fourteen year old boy who also loves Pond's!

I bought this once when I was extremely desperate for moisturizer and it did work in my hour of need so since I had an entire container of it I continued to use it. However after over a year of use I left at a relatives house and was unable to get it back any time soon. I soon needed more moisturizer as I have very dry skin. However during my year of use I had multiple complaints. Although as a positive side to ponds it does lock in moisture very well it always made my skin very greasy even when I just put a little. My first instinct was just to buy another ponds as that's what I had been using however after explaining to my friend the problem I had with ponds (the fact I have really dry skin but when I put on the moisturizer it makes my skin look greasy so I always have to use oil removing pads she told me that that means that the lotion just isn't working and I should get a new one. I ended up getting a new brand of moisturizer and that juxtaposition of mine disappeared! My skin didn't look greasy anymore after I put lotion on. Also after a time (I have very acne prone skin) I realized that a lot of my acne had dialed down after I stopped using ponds. Maybe it works for some but for me it was not the right product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
