United General WH89695 6 Cubic Feet Poly Tray Wheelbarrow

Remarkably good quality for the price. Needed to replace heavy metal wheelbarrow. This one will do great. Took about 45 min to assemble.

Because of the poly bucket there's not much cross strength and the handles twist under a moderately heavy load. I added a 2 x 4 stiffener between handles beneath the rear part of the bucket. Big improvement with a low cost modification.

This design is so bad that the wheelbarrow cannot be put together at all. The bolts which hold the tub to the handles are made in such a way that they spin and will not allow the nuts to be tightened. There is a slot in them but they are so soft the screwdriver will not hold and rounds out the slots. After trying several ideas we threw it all in a box and returned it. The plastic is for the tub is VERY soft and under heavy load would break around the bolt heads if you did get them tight. If you want an exercise in total frustration....................buy one of these!

The holes on the wheel barrow bucket do not even come close to lining up with the metal structure that supports the bucket - off by easily an inch.

I purchased this barrow for the plastic barrow part - I don't want a barrow that rusts in my yard from the occasional standing water moments. It's a medium duty barrow and of course I overloaded it a couple of times and it feel over - but that's my fault. Quite happy with build quality.
