In this screen adaptation of the popular Broadway musical comedy, Deanna Durbion portrays a young Irish immigrant who comes to America with her father (Albert Sharpe) and ends up taking down a crooked politician (Vincent Price). Dick Haymes is a newspaper reporter with a nose to Tweed's wayland deeds-and an eye of the lovely Rosie.
