My mother bought this and I can't believe no one stopped her. It was constructed for a day before they attempted to turn it in the morning (day 2) and the whole thing fell to bits, killing two of her lettuce plants, and one of the tomato is in bad shape. Even with the bottom reservoir filled with water they're worried about a strong wind blowing it into the neighbors yard. From my botany experience this does not have enough volume of soil or nutrients for the number of plants they're touting. Watever plants end up on the "bottom" will get mold from wet leaves. You need to pick plants that all have the same watering needs, and if you grow anything larger than a cherry tomato your fruit will strip your branches in the late season (especially tomatoes! They're full of water and heavy!). You're much better off getting a few pots and some irrigation stakes for low maintenance, probably costs similar and you won't have to remember to flip and water it. Some plants like strawberries, maybe even most herbs, don't care about being upside-down but tomatoes definitely shouldn't be like this. Absolutely wouldn't recommend for the plants or the people.

can you give this a 5+. i brought the taller version at sams for about 50$. i lent the to my children when i had a house fire. i can not get them back!!!. i have tried to find the large ones and everyone is sold out. if you buy these vand don't like them, email me. i will gladly tAKE THEM OFF YOUR HANDS. i put cabbage, strawberries broccoli on top, tomatoes, squash, zuchinni, eggplant & cucumbers on the bottom. the only bad idea about this arrangement is shih tzus love squash. so i did not get any. i put water in the bottom, with either anti mosquito larvae pellets or bleach in the water reservoir.

The upside down patio gardens are too small. I am concerned that my tomato plants will not have enough room to grow properly.
