the top snaps on. the snaps are not as good as they should be to carry from the handle. I have to pick up the whole kitty litter box by the bottom because the handle at the top pulls the clips open. It has a door that swings both ways, so it keeps a lot of the littler inside the box. It also has a filter that keeps the smell down. I just wish those clips would hold better, otherwise it is a wonderful kitty litter box.

it got here i got it all set up for my cat and realized it had a missing clip which makes it impossible to carry closer, i have to like scoot it across the floor. i am going to have to buy a new litter box to replace it because nobody wants to struggle with a litter box

Have had this brand and style for years, wanted a new one., the one I had been using for years was perfect, but not one of the four latches on the new one hold or lock. (yes I am using it correctly, like I said, I've been using this same one for years) Very disappointing, not going to return because it is now used. Going to order another one and hope it's not crap, and the latches actually work.

the covers with the locks are terrible they don't lock I went to pick up the cat litter box with the cover on it and I had cat litter in it already and I wound up with the cover in my hand the locks don't stay I would have sent them back but I broke down the box that they came in I would never buy them again

In terms of shipping, the item arrived quickly and in perfect condition. My cats adapted immediately, even though this is the first time they have used a covered litter box. It could be more sturdy, but for the price, it is a good purchase. My only negative comment is that whoever packaged the item did not make sure it was in perfect condition because it came missing one of the clasps.
