First time Iv bought anything like this. I probably got wrong type. It doesn't work like I thought it would. The food just keep out.

Not really an "auto-feeder" as you still have to shake it to make more come out when the bowl get a little empty. The top cap also doesn't stay firmly shut and your cats can easily open it.

Van Ness 2lb Pound Auto Feeder - Not Worth It I was very disappointed with this product. The materials feel extremely cheap, and it doesn't seem durable at all. The feeder constantly overflows on the floor, leaving my pet without food, which defeats the entire purpose of having an automatic feeder. The design is poorly thought out, and the plastic is flimsy and low-quality. For the price, I expected something at least functional, but this product falls far short. Save yourself the frustration and invest in something more reliable. Had my previous feeder for 19 years, sturdy , same price but well made.
