The directions say to let this warm up for 30 minutes.....possibly 45 min. I had it plugged in for over an hour, probably 1 1/2 hours, and it never got warm enough to roll the wax. I threw the whole thing in the garbage. It was a good idea, though.

For a home kit, its okay. Don't expect professional results. On my first try, this stuff was a waste. But, after you waste a good bit of it or if you wax yourself regularly, this stuff is not that bad. The hairs on my leg feel as if they have been shaven and not waxed. I feel stubble as soon as I cleaned the excess off. It breaks the hairs not rip them from follicles. Wax does not get hot enough and spreads too thick, making it harder to adjust to the product. For the price, you only get about 2 leg sessions or maybe 1 full body session out of it. Not a good value at all. May as well go to a spa for wax services may be cheaper.

My overall review of the product is as follows. a little messy, The wax took over an our to properly heat up. I still had to shave afterwards because of random patches I had missed on my legs. Still even with the touch up shaving my legs looked better longer than they ever have with shaving alone. (I used all the strips) The biggest issue is money. I can buy a replacement wax cartridge and the after wax wipes that come in the kit but as far as I can tell VEET DOES NOT SELL ANY REPLACEMENT STRIPS!!! As some one who had never waxed at home I have NO idea where I would buy NON-prewaxed hair removal strips. Veet ONLY SELLS strips with wax already on them. SO here I am the middle of a fleeting new England Summer on the 4th Of July. Way to hot to go anywhere in jeans and since I wasted the last week looking for strips I cant find I'm stuck at home.
