Got it for my dogs, but my cats also love it! So got it for one of my cats who's going through physical therapy. My other dog likes to rest her head on the cushiony edges (first photo in the back you can see her). It's versatile for any position they sleep in. It's comfortable too, more for cold weather than hot weather.

i gave it 1 star because ot is a great bed but it came damaged im sure it was a return and shipped back out to me its happened before. got this for my mom for her new puppy i got her for Christmas so dont really have time to wait on the process of returning it. almost $40 of my hard earned money spent on something damaged is very disappointing expected more from a place i spend so much money at

Love love love this bed! It is very durable, soft, and our Shih Tzu really loves it! This is the 3rd duplicate we've purchased for him! He has ruined so many flimsy beds in the past (he likes to “dig” and chew), but it takes him a good 8 months to get through these! It's been so nice. The one before this went a year and 2 months!! (I will probably get the same bed in gray next time so that the stains don't show as much (he likes to chomp down on the edges and gets drool all over). My only gripe is that the edges are filled with batting, making it very hard to wash in a regular washer. The bed part is a solid piece of foam. There are zippers so you can get to the edges, but again, it's just loose batting.

The bed is rather hard with little give to it. The size (medium) is just right for our Bichon who weighs about 13 lbs. We added a small bed pillow to the bed and she loves the softness of it. I was also concerned that she might scratch to adjust the feel of the bed and her nails might catch in the cover and damage it. The added pillow has solved that problem.
