Vibrant Life Dog Food Container, Small, 4-lb Capacity

Our previous dog food container needed to be replaced as the lid was no longer attaching correctly (we had it from our previous dog, it was at least 10 years old). This was just a container for our pantry to feed our small 10 pound dog, not for storing entire bags of food. I wanted something similar in size that had a better lid. Most of what I found for "dog food containers" were too big, too expensive, or a bit more complicated than what we wanted. We settled on this option and it has worked perfectly. The lid isn't as sturdy as the one on our previous container, but the way it connects to the base is much more secure. I'm happy with it and would purchase it again.

Perfect item for storing my birdseed. I was leaving the seed in the bags it came in however I had too many "little visitors" in my garage eating the bag open to get the seed. This product is great for all the seed I have. I may end up getting a second one!

Nice storage container for pet food and other items. I currently have 4. I buy 20lb bags of pet food and use 2 of these for them. They fit nicely under the bottom shelf of the pantry. I store side walk salt in another. I also use one to store baking soda for washing and making homemade cleaners. The lids are snug and lock which is very nice. The lid opens nice and wide to allow scoops to be used They are not what I consider air tight or water tight. The seal has a small gap in it on the rear of the lid, which is the reason I took off a star. They did not stink like a lot of plastic on purchase. I did need to let them gas off 24 hours before washing.

Picked up product yesterday from curb side pickup. First time to open lid the white lid seal fell out. Pushed back in but does not stay. The handle does not snap closed. A mouse could open lid handle and enter container. Just so you know I should have entered Walmart and checked out the product before purchasing.
