While the unit might work fine Walmart sent me a used one was retaped, was a prior wet manual along with stickers missing and the inside smelled like Vicks so it clearly was used because it doesn't come from the Vicks factory that way it also had water residue calcium deposit and dirt inside be very careful ordering this Check it out very carefully cuz they sent me a used one not new

During first use I remember telling myself that I scored finding such an awesome humidifier for under $20. Nevertheless, my opinion quickly changed because the very next day it wouldn't produce any steam even while following the recommendation to add a little salt. Also, about 10 minutes in it started spurting water out of where steam was supposed to be produced. Guess the old saying about you getting what you paid for holds true…

I really need this to sleep and it's not what I was expecting… Water is coming out of the little hole and I try everything to make it stop but it doesn't work, It's not supposed to do this because my mom has one of this and it's fine . The box has a lot of tape so I'm taking that maybe someone return this one and they give it back to me ..

This was a horrible purchase. My family was so ill so I did an online order to be delivered. 1st off the shopper texted me saying the app wouldn't let them purchase the menthol pads that go with this EVEN THOUGH the item was right there in stock! So I tried to cancel my order since I had to drag my child out to the store to get it myself. Then when we got back home I noticed the tape on this box looked like it had been opened and resealed. But again we had Covid %26 deathly ill. So I set it up so my child could breathe until I noticed it was full of black (mold) floating around in the water. After just a few hours. So I emptied it, washed it all off in hot water. But again within a few hours it was the same black mold in the water. So I couldn't even use it after all the trouble!! By the time I was well enough to return it it says I can't return it! Just my luck!! Smh NEVER AGAIN!! I had to pay for express delivery to literally as soon as it came go back to the store for missing items. You should be able to return defective items no matter what!
