CobraCo FB6540 Black Round Bravo Fire Pit, Black, 30"

Pros: Easy to set up = 15 minutes = and worth shopping around for (I looked at several other types of pits and different websites and all were more expensive = $45-75 more /not the type I was looking for). The negatives: a small dent/tear in the side mesh and the lid was a little bent (manufacturers/packagers' fault, not Walmart's). Needs a better protective cover - mine had pinholes after unfolding it and one little tug on the cover after putting it on the pit caused a rip. Overall: I have used it twice thus far and plan to use it a few times per month in the summer and fall months for cookouts and backyard picnics. I like the mesh all the way around for heat dispersement and sits low to the ground for stability. Site to store shipment is the way to go!

Just got this firepit and we just love it. Nice and Big and really nice. The neighbors even loved it. We have had one other firepit before and that one didnt last very long. One suggestion, make sure you cover in the rain and put away during winter months. Our old one was so bad from the rain. This one also came with cover, which is nice and big as well. Overall I recommend and it was very simple to set up!

Perfect size and shape for a nice-sized (even large) fire. Bigger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Very similar in diameter and depth to the stone firepit it temporarily (permanently?) replaces. Mesh top keeps hot ashes from flying around. Mesh sides combined with standing above the ground is not ideal in the wind (vs a deep stone circle) - but mostly smoke, flame, and heat get out - not debris. Note - will burn leaves and grass underneath it! Rake first. I've only used it once so far, but if it lasts a few years, I'll be really happy with it.

We are very satisfied with this product. It is a great size and holds a lot of wood. We've had 2 other fire-pits before we found this one. This is what we wanted right from the start. I wish we had found it sooner. The only draw-back was that it didn't come with any kind of rack or fire-grate to hold the wood off the bottom like other fire-pits.

I reviewed and bought the product online. Like many online shoppers, I'm always a bit leary at the company's picture of the product (a robust fire in on a bright, sunny day). However, the price of the fire pit was incredible given the side and construction of the pit. I researched a lot of other fire pits, and this one was by far the best price. The pit is large and able to hold a great deal of wood. I was able to stack about 10 logs along with plenty of starter wood to get a roaring fire going. The mesh sides allow everyone around the pit to feel the heat. It was so hot that I had to back away a few feet and was still able to enjoy the fire. This pit is good for many people to sit around. I had my in-laws over recently, and we fit about 8 people around it with no problem. It's also good for roasting hot dogs and making s'mores. The screen is nice for keeping the ashes down, but I expect it to warp somewhat due to its close proximity to the heat. Overall, great fire pit especially for the price. I expect to use it well into the future.
