Victor Quick-Set Mouse Trap

I had one that caught the mouse. The trap did not kill the mouse. The mouse chewed its way out of the trap. I don't know how it did it, but the proof is the trap was tripped, closed, chewed, and there was no mouse in it.

This is a HORRIBLE product. Yes, it is very easy to install. However, it does not always close quickly or hard enough to kill the little rodent. The poor mouse was caught with only its snout trapped. My sister also had the experience of setting these traps and one of them just disappeared. I can only imagine the poor little mouse dragging itself around with a trap stuck to and squeezing its little body. It is CRUEL and INHUMANE !!! It should be off the market!

Easy to set, easy to bait, easy to remove dead mice! Totally recommend this product.

I purchased the Victor Quick Set Mouse trap even after reading some bad reviews and I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. I set a few around the perimeter of my basement apartment and one in my utility closet and the one in the closet has killed two mice within the week. I baited the trap with just the tip of a toothpick of peanut butter on the bait "lever" and a little on the underside of the top part. It is a little quirky to reset after it does its job but thats not a big deal once you figure out the alignment.

Junk. Yeah. It MIGHT kill the mouse., but it does not hold the mouse, so there is no so-called easy disposal. What there IS however, is a bloody mess to clean up. Wal-Mart shouldn't even stock this junk.
