I love having a huge sink. Just plan ahead and make sure your cabinet base is the right proportions to support it. Mine is set undermount with granite countertops ... great for holidays and stacking large serving dishes, pans and letting them soak. Recommend getting a roll-up draining rack to go over one end. You can use the whole sink and still have a rinse/dry area off your countertops!
I had an undermount, biscuit-colored Blanco Silgranit sink that had become stained. Having quartz countertops, I thought I was stuck with it, but this Vigo sink saved the day! It's dimensions are nearly identical, and my contractor was able to remove the old sink and install this one with no damage to my countertop. The sink is great quality, and the the soundproofing is the best! My contractor was very impressed, and so am I!
Just finished renovating our kitchen. This faucet goes VERY nicely with everything else. It is sturdily fabricated, looks great and functions well. My only note for improvement would be smaller holes for the spray function so that water pressure is ramped up a little more.
Installed sink and faucet about 3 months ago. Excellent quality. When the countertop installer picked up the sink, all he said was "heavy!" The sink definitely gets 5 stars. The faucet, more like 3. Like the design and overall function, but the detachable head takes quite some effort to lock and unlock before pulling out for use. Usually only detach it to spray down the sink at the end of the day. Overall though, very pleased with the product.
I have been using the sink for several months after a kitchen remodel to make it more handicapped accessible. The only thing that would make it better would be if the faucet and sprayer were 12" to 15" from the back instead of the 9" since the back of the sink is 18".
