Virgin ALOHA by LG - Feature phone - LCD display - 128 x 128 pixels - Virgin Mobile

i got this phone 4/23/12 for this cheap and good price at walmart.com and so far i love it, it dosent make any problems and it works fast and it looks very nice!

Bought one of these on Black Friday and have been disappointed ever since. Main gripes - battery life that tethers you to a wall outlet all day long. I run it pretty much with no apps or gps/wifi. Done the battery killer thing, etc. Just be prepared to have no battery when you really need it. The touch screen is almost impossible to use - I usually have to try most operations 2-4x to get the screen to read them. Texting - stinks. Random word salads come out when you type and the memory for text messages has me clearing it out every week. I went from an iPhone 3GS to this based on a friend's recommendation. I am no longer friends with that person.

Bought this for Xmas and after three months I am on my seventh phone. It turns itself on and off and requests activation again. Initially Virgin sent refurbished phones as replacements for a brand new phone and each one had mic and speaker issues. I have now received a couple of brand new replacements and they have each had the same original issue, not one phone has worked properly. By trial and error I discovered that having the Wi fi on causes the reboot and activation issue. So I am going to live with the phone although its mic and speaker are not the clearest.

The phone is defective and I'm returning it to Walmart ASAP.

Looks great on paper but has more bugs than I could deal with.
