Visine Totality Multi-Symptom Relief Red Eye Drops, 0.5 fl. oz

I used Visine Red Eye Total Comfort Multi-Symptom Drops and was satisfied with their effect. They effectively eliminate redness, itching, and burning in the eyes caused by various reasons, such as fatigue, allergies, or irritation. The drops not only eliminate redness but also relieve itching and burning, providing complete relief for irritated eyes. They provide longer-lasting symptom relief compared to some other eye drops. The drops also contain moisturizing ingredients that help prevent dry eyes.

I'm a long time Visine consumer, and have been using their products since I was 10, and I'm 40 now. I needed drops for my dry, itchy, red eyes, and I'd left mine at home. Stopped at the store to grab another bottle, and all they had in stock was the "Total Comfort Multi-Symptom". No big deal, it's Visine. These are probably better than what I have at home...or so I thought. I bought them, and the moment I put the drops in, my eyes started burning horribly. It felt like someone stuck a hot poker into my eye. That subsided after about five minutes, and for the next four hours my eyes felt like they had hot sand in them. I usually use the basic "Extra Strength Redness Relief", and have never had reason to complain. I don't know if maybe the active ingredient on the "Total Comfort Multi-Symptom" is too high of a concentration, or what the problem could be. Formula definitely needs to be tweaked though. I definitely expected better from a company I've trusted for 30 years.

I thought I was imagining things or that my eyes were so dry they stung when moisture was finally there, but no, these eye drops have been burning my eyes. At first it was just a light tingle and the back of the box warns that some might experience that, so I didn't worry. The next time I used the drops they burned slightly and left my eyes feeling gritty and strained. Foolishly, I thought this just meant I really needed to use more eye drops if my eyes were so sore/dry. I just used the drops again an hour ago and the burning is a lot more intense and still hasn't gone away even after rinsing my eyes with a saline solution. I really hope I don't have to go to the doctor for this. Obviously, I DO NOT recommend.

I felt like I had something in my eye such as an eye lash. Found this in the medicine cabinet unopened and decided to give it a try to help clean out anything that was in my eye, and relieve the itch and irritation i had. The second the drop hit my eye, my eye felt like it was on fire!! The burn was agonizing! I thought i had done more harm than good at that point. I placed a warm towel on my eye hoping for relive. 10 minutes later I noticed my vision was blurry in the irritated eye, yet I've always had perfect vision. After reading so many other reviews, I see many others had shared the same experience. LOT FFB5901

I love other visine products. This one burns for about 5 to 10 minutes after use. My eyes feel better after a few hours but it shouldnt be at the cost of my eyes feeling like they are on fire. I thought I had bought a bad batch again because I have used other visine products but this seems to be a problem for most people who try this product. Very painful. I threw this product out.
