VIZIO 37" Class LCD 1080p 60Hz HDTV, RBE370VL, REFURBISHED,

It's great to get rid of my old tv which was smaller and very heavy. The picture is great. The only connectors to hook up a game are on the back though and it has some problem with sound. The volume changes independently sometimes.

I'm sure this product worked very well for most of the people who decide to take a chance on it. Unfortunately I wasn't among the lucky. The packaging was okay and there was no tearing or major denting of the packing box, so kudos to Wal-Mart on that score. A quick perusal on unpackaging showed a very well used television. I was expecting a much better appearing appliance. There were numerous scratches on the case which were no big deal and one towards the top of the screen that was borderline unacceptable when taken on it's own. When I got all hooked up and turned the tv on, there were three dim light spots that showed up on a black or dim screen. I would assume that this was the reason the television was returned from the previous owner. When the picture was bright the picture quality was quite good. I boxed up the package and returned it to Wal-Mart the next day. Obviously there are more than a few folks well satisfied with their refurb televisions, but I wasn't one of them. The package shipped site to store and arrived one day earlier than I was told to expect it. I did purchase another Vizio television but it was a 55" LCD model that was in the store's inventory.

I bought 10 of these for a association ,poor quality, missing some hardware, some remotes don't work, very dissapointed will not buy again.

I bought this TV to replace a big, heavy 32" monster TV (that was working well, but was huge and unwieldy). I am delighted with the picture and sound quality of this Vizio. This is a refurbished TV, but appears to work and look just like a new unit. I bought the 3-year service contract as 'insurance'. This TV is hanging in my bedroom and by placing it on the wall it really gives me much more room. I found the set very easy to connect (use HDMI cables - not included but I had a couple) and the channel selection and remote features were not very challenging. I hooked it up to my DVD and Roku box quickly and easily and everything works. I would like the sleep timer to give a 'countdown' like my other TV did (5 minutes - 4 minutes - etc.) but it doesn't - it just shuts off. Not a big deal. I also read the review from one customer who did not like the amber Vizio logo front and center on the bottom of the TV - I agree, but not a deal breaker. All in all, I am delighted with this purchase.

The ordering process, delivery experience and support was outstanding on my new 37" Refurbished Vizio TV. I had never purchased from Walmart before and was delightfully surprised in the ease and their accuracy to detail. As far as a refurbished product, I had always avoided them thinking that they may be inferior, but a friend reminded me that refurbished items were tested by pros and that the seller's reputation was at stake for selling them. I am so happy with my new Vizio TV! I would recommend this purchase wholeheartedly to a friend or family member.
