The first one we got had a issue of going dark screen then back to light , even with the ambient light sensor turned off ( which started to happen more & more often staying dark longer & longer ). At the same time the first hdmi jack #1 quit working. Ok must have got a dud, time to get rid of it not keeping some thing that isn't working right that I paid for. Had them pick it up & ship me another one. No hassles getting it exchanged & this one works perfect ( so far ) !!! It is one of the best featured & priced in it's class. Overall love this tv; but just in case have the three year warranty for back-up.

I feel like I have been living in a cave! I have been watching an old big square TV with the belief that "if it aint broke, don't fix it"...well, if you are watching an old non-HDTV, non-flat screen TV, then it IS BROKE and you need to FIX IT by buying this TV! This is refurbished, but it looked to me like the box had not been opened. This same TV in the non-refurbished condition is $150+ more. I used the saved money to buy an extended warranty just in case. Picture is unbeleivable, sound great, and features great. I literally opened up the box, hoisted it on to the mantle with the help of my 13 year old, and turned it on...that's it! Best of all, I don't even have cable and am using a digital antena and get a perfect picture. I stream anything else that I want to see and am not spending the exhorbitant $$$ on cable.

While I have only had this TV for a couple of weeks, I am liking it a lot right away. Out of the box the settings are great. I don't know what made this refurbished but it appears to look and perform like new. The sound is not good at all and I knew that going into the purchase, but honestly I wouldn't expect good sound from a flat panel set anyways. I had every intention of using my theater system so it is not a big deal to me. I had read reviews of people not caring for the dimming feature, but so far it has not been an issue. If I find that it does come into play I will just turn that feature off on the TV. The picture is excellent! Everything is crisp and bright! I am very glad that I got 1080p and 120hz refresh rate. It takes a bit to get used to the lower quality broadcasts on a high resolution TV but that's fine too. I don't own a Blu Ray player yet so I don't know what that will look like. I am guessing great though! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I have only had it a short period of time and I want to see if it has longevity. I bought the extended warranty to be safe though since it was only an extra $35. If it was over $50 there is no way I would have bought it. If there are any of these left I would suggest buying it asap before they are gone!

Great picture, great sound, best of all is the non-glare screen. 50% of the flat screens on the market are totally unusable unless placed in a darkened room. I can view programming this TV at high noon on a bright sunny day in the living room with the drapes pulled back. For < $500 it is a steal. Only negative comment I have is the input and output options are limited, especially the audio with only an digital optical output available.

Honestly you can't beat this deal. This TV is amazing. The picture quality is outstanding, so much so, that it makes DVDs look halfway like blue-ray. I originally thought I was going to need to buy the Vizio sound bar. I have heard tell of HDTVs not having sufficient sound, but from the first moment I turned it on, I knew it wasn't going to be necessary. Many people don't trust refurbs but I am a believer now. All in all, this is an unbeatable deal, the Site to Store clerk that retrieved the TV for me said he bought the same class of TV (Vizio 1080p, 120 Hz, LED LCD) only 2" smaller 2 years ago. He paid 2 grand, I paid less than a quarter of that price. It's a good feeling.
