VTech DM111-2 DECT 6.0 Digital Audio Baby Monitor with Belt Clip, 2 Parent Units, White

Baby can be heard clearly with this monitor, but there is almost constant static in the background...very annoying. I will be returning this product.

I have purchased it 6 month ago and it is by far the best one I have tried over the last 20 years. We use the reception station in the basement and in our bedroom and the sound is great without static or interference unlike many other brands that we had to return for refund.

I bought this a few months back and unfortunately did not have the receipt or box to return. it is horrible. constant loud static. cuts in and out and sometimes I'm not sure if its my daughter or just the monitor doing its own thing. i would not recommend this to anyone. big waste of money.

Hello Let me first say that I have purchase two of these units and both did the exact same thing so it may be the way they are designed. I returned these units as it seemed that the connection would continually drop on the unit. I have a wireless WIFI and I have read that some models are affected by this. I tested both units using a sound machine in the nursery. The unit would pick up the sound fine but then go to silence and pick up the sound a few seconds later. I can only equate the effect to listening to a hospital patient ventilator - up you hear it- down it is quiet. It would also raise and lower the audio which will wake some people up. Based on the reviews I would give it a try and it may work for you but I would not recommend this unit from my own experience

Only used for a day and can't stand it. Horrible static constantly. Don't waste your money on this. Going back!!!!
