this is a horrible monitor for 1 reason only, the charging connector to the parental unit. My daughter is 2 1/2 and our 3rd Monitor has just stopped charging. The connector is horrible. Check the connectors first. I would not buy this one again we replaced because we already had the camera secure in the wall.

I have only had this monitor for a few months, during this time the parent unit is continuously turning off, blinking, and not turning on. Last night the charger cord decided to stop working! Plugged in it charges for a minute tops and then shuts off. I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this a year ago and have problems ever since the monitor was 7 months old. The monitor will not charge and they wouldn't fix it. It does seem to pick up great audio but the quality isn't there for picture and charging. It has turned off in the middle of the night and I wake up needing to go check my baby and bring him to bed with me because I don't trust the monitor to not shut off. Going to get a new monitor!
